Tasting- Veleta Tempranillo Rosado

Name: Veleta Tempranillo Rosado
Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Region: D.O.P. Grenada--Alpujarra
Country: Spain
Year: 2010
Price: $3.95

Winery review: Fresh in flavor and crisp in texture, this dry rosé offers berry, tart cherry and light herbal flavors, with firm acidity and a clean finish. Focused and juicy.

My review: This wine had an aroma of a fresh field of flowers.  Nothing else that I could pick out on the nose.  The taste brought a tart berry, almost sour flavor.  It ended with a very soft finish.  This wine was pretty good and I would definitely try it again to better appreciate all it has to offer.

This wine was tasted on its own with no food.
